CBS Wins Final Sweeps Day On Wednesday.

The November sweep period is over. On the final day, Wednesday, CBS won the battle on the evening and for the entire sweeps period in households. At 8P, ‘Survivor’ won by a comfortable margin bringing in 8.81 million viewers followed at 9P by ‘Criminal Minds’, the biggest audience of the evening in all of broadcast, with 11.04 million. At 10P ‘CSI’ won comfortably with 10.8 million viewers. All three shows were originals and pounded the competition in total viewers as well as A18-49 demos.

NBC gained second spot with ‘The Making of The Sound of Music Live!’ at 8P with 4.86 million while at 9P, ‘Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving’ drew 4.87 million viewers.

FOX came in next with ‘The X Factor’ pulling in 4.86 million.

ABC decided to run a full schedule of reruns beginning with ‘The Middle’ drawing 4.89 million viewers; at 830P ‘Last Man Standing’ with 4.31 million; at 9P, ‘Modern Family’ with 4.96 million and ‘Super Fun Night’ at 930P with 2.88 million. At 10P, ‘Nashville’ drew only 2.3 million.

The CW had ‘Planes, Trains and Automobiles’ pulling 1.79 million.

For the evening, CBS was #1 with 9.77 million viewers. NBC was #2 by a fraction with 4.965 million while FOX had 4.86 million . ABC drew 3.61 million. The CW had 1.79 million viewers for the evening.
