Mobile Viewers More Likely To Engage With Longer Ads. Consumers are more likely to engage with longer video ads than short, six-second ads, with 72% of consumers who watch an ad for six seconds on a mobile device continuing to engage with videos for a maximum of 22 seconds, according to a Native Video study. Consumers watched 33 million native video ads from January to April of 2018, and mobile and tablet users were more engaged when videos lasted 15 to 22 seconds, compared with those watching via desktop for the same time frame.
