Pinterest may not be growing at the rate the company had once anticipated, but the platform is expanding, with new data showing that the app is now closing in on 250 million monthly active users, up from the 200 million it reported back in September. That growth rate means the platform’s gaining momentum…it took Pinterest 6 months to go from 150m to 175m users, and 5 months to reach their next milestone of 200m users. Adding another 50 million since September means the platform is now gaining 25m new users every four months, according to Andrew Hutchinson, SocialMediaToday. For more, go to:http://bit.ly/2LEyS6M
Remember, social media marketing isn’t always the tech. It’s the people.
Today, traditional TV still accounts for the lion’s share of video viewing, but online and mobile are where the growth is. When managed together, TV/digital/mobile hold the potential to drive real impact for advertisers—enabling them to maximize the customers they reach and/or reinforce key messaging across screens. After all, ‘It’s all about screens’.

‘Roseanne’ Cancelled By ABC After Running Off At The Fingers On Twitter
Per Joseph Otterson writing in Variety, ‘ABC has pulled the plug on the revival “Roseanne.” The move comes after series star Roseanne Barr made a comment on Twitter Tuesday morning referring to former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett as the “offspring of the ‘Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes.’” “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show,” ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said in a statement. Barr deleted her tweet about Jarrett not long after posting it. She followed it up with an apology which read, “I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans. I am truly sorry for making a bad joke about her politics and her looks. I should have known better. Forgive me-my joke was in bad taste. I am now leaving Twitter.” The revival of the classic sitcom was set to air a 13-episode eleventh season this fall.
