Remember, social media marketing isn’t always the tech. It’s the people.

Today, traditional TV still accounts for the lion’s share of video viewing, but online and mobile are where the growth is. When managed together, TV/digital/mobile hold the potential to drive real impact for advertisers—enabling them to maximize the customers they reach and/or reinforce key messaging across screens. After all, ‘It’s all about screens’.

Today In Communication History

On this date 1946, NBC recruits its first television advertiser, Bristol-Myers, for ‘Geographically Speaking‘, which has been on air since 27 October. No episode of the series is known to survive in any archive, as it was broadcast live and there was no way to record live TV until the development of kinescopes in 1947. Even then, only a few TV shows were recorded.

Quote Of The Day

‘That they be remembered was not their wish. That they are remembered was their destiny. That we should live in their deed expressed. Like them, let us not ask what our country can do for us. They leave us a legacy of valor, of courage and an answer to duty’s call. Let us carry on where they have begun.’
Lance G. Hanish
