Bing Trials Search Results That Add Chatbot Option. The chatbot will further help companies to connect with customers on questions regarding the feature extension itself. Microsoft will also leverage the chatbot extension to build audience categories to expand its In-Market Audiences. As an example, the user can search for Monsoon Restaurant Seattle, as the bot is active on it. Just below the ‘View on Facebook and Twitter option, users will find the box where its written ‘Questions? Ask Monsoon Restaurant bot for help’. By clicking on the “Chat” button a small Skype window will pop up in the bottom right corner of the browser window, as depicted in the picture above. Microsoft said: “As users interact in more conversational ways through voice and search, brands you will reach users in a more natural way through direct conversation, keeping customers informed by asking questions and gaining answers quickly through an intelligent bot. “For example, if you are advertising for a cell phone carrier and you know that people often ask questions about upgrading their phone, Bing can answer questions with Chat Bot Extensions right within our main search results page.” At a recent Reuters event, Microsoft‘s chief executive officer Satya Nadella mentioned revealed Bing‘s focus going forward would be to expand within the PC search market.

Remember, social media marketing isn’t always the tech. It’s the people.

Today, traditional TV still accounts for the lion’s share of video viewing, but online and mobile are where the growth is. When managed together, TV/digital/mobile hold the potential to drive real impact for advertisers—enabling them to maximize the customers they reach and/or reinforce key messaging across screens. After all, ‘It’s all about screens’.

On this date 1946, ‘Faraway Hill‘ aired for the first time on the DuMont network. It was the first TV network soap opera. It aired on Wednesday at 9P. The first episode originated from the basement of the Greenwich Village Wanamaker’s department store. The half-hour show was broadcast live, although filmed excerpts were interspersed, and slides of scenes from previous shows were included in later episodes to bring viewers up to date with regard to plot elements which had previously transpired. No footage from the series has survived (methods to record television, such as kinescopes, did not exist until 1947).

Quote Of The Day

‘It was only an experiment. It never made a cent and had no commercials. … it was not a successful series but to ‘test the mind of the viewer’.’
