Twitter simplifies advertising, reports daily active users. Twitter is streamlining its ad-purchasing process and disclosing daily active users; the moves are designed to draw marketers amid competition from Snapchat, Pinterest and other social media companies. “It’s not about these absolute numbers, it’s about the fact that you can actually go to Twitter and you can see what people actually think about what you just announced, the policies that you’ve taken down or put up,” CEO Jack Dorsey said. For a great article on the subject, go to:http://www.adweek.com/digital/after-losing-nfl-streaming-rights-to-amazon-twitters-jack-dorsey-downplays-live-video/
Remember, social media marketing isn’t always the tech. It’s the people.
Today, traditional TV still accounts for the lion’s share of video viewing, but online and mobile are where the growth is. When managed together, TV/digital/mobile hold the potential to drive real impact for advertisers—enabling them to maximize the customers they reach and/or reinforce key messaging across screens. After all, ‘It’s all about screens’.
