The Tiffany Network used old and new programming to win Thursday. At 8P, a rerun of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ finished #1 for the night with an average 7.16 million viewers and a 4.8 rating/9 share. At 830P, a rerun of ‘Mom’ finished #1 in its time slot with an average 5.84 million viewers and a 3.8/7. At 9P, ‘Big Brother’ finished #1 in its time slot with an average 6.0 million viewers and a 3.9/7. Then at 10P, ‘Under the Dome’ finished second in its time slot with an average 4.79 million viewers and a 3.0/5.
NBC
The Peacock Network didn’t quite have enough to take Thursday. At 8P, ‘Food Fighters’ finished with an average 3.82 million viewers and a 2.6/5. At 9P, a two-hour rerun of ‘Dateline’ finished with an average 5.43 million viewers and a 3.9/7.
ABC
The Alphabet Network didn’t have enough to challenge on Thursday. At 8P, ‘Astronaut Wives Club’ finished #2 in its time slot with an average 4.51 million viewers and a 3.6/7. At 9P, ‘Mistresses’ finished with an average 3.28 million viewers and a 2.6/5. At 10P, the Canadian summer favorite, ‘Rookie Blue’ finished with an average 3.61 million viewers and a 2.7/5.
Univision
The #1 Hispanic Network in America devoted the entire evening to ‘Premios Juventud’ as the awards show finished with an average 1.7/3 HH rating reaching a peak @ 9P with a 1.8/3 HH rating.
FOX
The Animal Network of Broadcast didn’t have much in the tank. At 8P, ‘Boom’ didn’t make much of a sound at it drew an average 2.01 million viewers and a 1.5/3. Then at 9P, ‘Wayward Pines’ finished with an average 3.20 million viewers and a 2.6/5.
The CW
The Little Network That Couldn’t imported a program and it didn’t float. At 8P, ‘Beauty and the Beast’ finished with an average 1.04 million viewers and a 0.8/2. Then at 9P, the British import, ‘Dates’ finished with an average 550,000 viewers and a 0.5/1. And at 930P, another episode of ‘Dates’ finished with an average 500,000 viewers and a 0.4/1.

CBS finished #1 on Thursday with an average 5.764 million viewers and a 3.7/7. NBC finished #2 with an average 4.888 million viewers and a 3.4/6. ABC finished #3 with an average 3.801 million viewers and a 2.9/5. Univision finished #4 with an average 3.300 million viewers and a 1.7/3. FOXNC finished #5 with an average of 2.670 million viewers and was the #1 cable network on Thursday. FOX finished with an average 2.605 million viewers and a 2.0/4. History Channel finished with an average Telemundo finished with an average 1.300 million viewers and an 0.8/1. The CW finished with an average 781,000 viewers and a 0.6/1.

Netflix Huge Jump In Q2 Subscribers
Netflix added 3.3 million new members worldwide in the second quarter of 2015, a company record for the historically weak period. The company’s net gain of 3.3 million new streaming members brought it to 65.6 million total subscribers.

How Often Do US Smartphone Owners Check Their Devices?
Roughly half (52%) of US smartphone owners say they check their phone a few times an hour (41%) or every few minutes (11%), according to recently-released survey results from Gallup, with that figure rising to almost three-quarters (73%) of young (18-29) smartphone owners. Besides the age skew, the survey also finds men slightly more likely than women to frequently check their smartphones, and iPhone users similarly slightly more likely than Android owners.
Overall, about 8 in 10 device owners surveyed said they keep their smartphone near them almost all the time during their waking hours.

The Big One had the big program on Thursday. First at 8P, ‘DIY SOS: The Big Build’ finished with an average 3.68 million viewers (19.1%). Then at 9P, ‘Celebrity MasterChef’ continued to dominate with an average audience of 4.05 million viewers (20.6%). Later, at 1045P, ‘Motorway Cops’ brought in an average 2.17 million viewers (20.0%).
ITV
The Independent One at 730P had ‘Tonight’ and it was watched by 2.36 million viewers (12.9%). At 9P, ‘Superhospital’ continued with an average 2.25 million viewers (11.4%).
Channel 4
The Big Four at 8P presented ‘Grand Designs’ and it drew only 920,000 viewers (4.8%). Then at 9P, ‘Married at First Sight’ brought in the network’s high for the evening with 1.76 million viewers (8.9%).
BBC Two
The Little Two presented at 8P, ‘Ireland’s Wild River: The Mighty Shannon’ and it interested 1.21 million viewers (6.3%). That set up, at 9P, ‘Coast’ which drew an average 1.61 million viewers (8.2%). Then, ‘Mock the Week’ entertained the network high for the evening with an average 1.48 million viewers (8.7%).
Channel 5
The Viacom Five presented, at 9P, the live season finale of ‘Big Brother’ on Thursday (July 16) and Chloe Wilburn’s win was watched by an average 1.22 million viewers (6.7%). At 1045P, ‘Big Brother’s Bit on the Side’ was followed with 500,000 viewers (5.6%).
Sky Living
The Murdoch Living Space at 8P had ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and it drew 137,000 viewers (0.7%). Then at 9P, CBS’ ‘Madam Secretary’ pulled the audience up to 171,000 viewers (0.9%) with no continuity in programming what so ever. It’s Murdochville.

Network Nine
The National Network Nine finished #1 on Thursday with a overwhelming 33.5% share of the available audience. #2 was ‘Nine News’ with 1,072,000 viewers, which was the nation’s top newscast on Thursday. #3 was ‘Nine News 6:30’ with 1,040,000 viewers. #6, ‘A Current Affair’ finished with 929,000 viewers.
Seven
The Second Commercial Network in Australia finished just ahead of Ten with a 23.3% share. #5 was ‘Seven News’ with an average 956,000 viewers. #7 was ‘Seven News/Today Tonight’ with an average 892,000 viewers. And, #10 was ‘Home and Away’ with an average 681,000 viewers.

The Third Commercial Network in Australia finished #3 with a 22.9% share of the available audience. #1 for the second straight night was ‘MasterChef Australia’ with an average 1.186 million viewers. #4 was ‘MasterChef Australia-Masterclass’ which drew 989,000 viewers.

The Alphabet Network in Australia finished fourth with a 14.6% share. #8 was ‘ABC News’ with an average 862,000 viewers.
