Tuesday, 03.25.14 (Posted 03.26.14) CBS made its move to spring another extension of the powerful drama, ‘NCIS’ as it presented ‘Crescent City’ which is intended as the new ‘NCIS: New Orleans’. It finished #1 for the evening with 17.28 million viewers. At 9P, ‘NCIS:LA’ continued to make its move as the second most popular television dramas as it pulled in 15.48 million viewers and a . Then at 10P, ‘Person Of Interest’ had a fascinating program with was definitely Must See ON DEMAND episode and it drew 12.25 million viewers. The Tiffany Network was so powerful that it outdrew all of the other non-Hispanic networks combined. Stunning achievement on a single night.

NBC was the only other major network to finish near 50% of what CBS had done. At 8P, ‘The Voice’ drew 12.29 million viewers. At 9P, ‘About A Boy’ finished with 7.8 million viewers. At 930P, ‘Growing Up Fisher’ drew 6.44 million while at 10P, ‘Chicago Fire’ with a rerun drew only 4.02 million.

Then came Univision in the #3 position.

FOX finished the evening with only 2.63 million viewers on average in prime time. That began at 8P with ‘Glee’ which pulled in only 2.72 million. At 9P, ‘New Girl’ pulled 2.48 million and at 930P, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ only did 2.59 million viewers.

ABC was next at 8P with ‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ rerun with 2.75 million viewers. At 9P, ‘The Goldbergs’ rerun drew 2.78 million while at 930P, ‘Trophy Wife’ drew 2.09 million. At 10P, ‘Mind Games’ with an original episode could only muster 1.9 million to watch.

The CW at 8P had ‘The 100’ rerun which could only draw 1.57 million folks while at 9P, ‘Supernatural’ pulled in a 2.11 million viewers.

Late Night
The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon won Tuesday night with a 3.3/8. CBS’ ‘David Letterman’ drew a 2.4/6. ABC’s, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ pulled a 1.8/5. At 1235A, ‘Seth Meyers’ finished with a 1.6/6. ABC’s ‘Nightline’ had a 1.1/4. CBS’ ‘Craig Ferguson’ finished with a 1.2/4. At 135A, ‘Carson Daly’ had a 0.4/3.

For The Record
CBS was the top network on Tuesday with 15.0 million viewers for a dominating night on Tuesday. NBC finished with 7.8 million viewers. Univision drew 2.97 million. FOX had 2.63 million viewers. ABC had million viewers and a 2.35 million viewers. The CW finished Tuesday with 1.84 million viewers. Telemundo had a 0.7/1.

BBC One with ‘Shetland’ remained on top in the Tuesday ratings outside of soaps. The BBC One drama pulled in 4.47 million viewers (20.0%) at 9P. Later, at 1035P, ‘Keeping Britain Safe 24/7’ brought in 1.49 million viewers (13.7%).

BBC Two at 8P had ‘Lambing Live’ and it was seen by 2.28 million viewers (10.4%). It was followed at 9P by ‘The Great British Sewing Bee’, which drew 2.56 million (11.5%).

ITV had a down night. At 730P, ‘River Monsters’ could only muster 1.81 million (8.5%). And at 8P, a rerun of ‘Midsomer Murders’ had 2.22 million viewers (10.0%).

Channel 4 at 8P had ‘Kirstie’s Best of Both Worlds’ which brought in 1.36 million viewers (6.2%). It was followed at 9P by ‘Food Price: The Shocking Truth’ with 1.47 million viewers (6.6%). At 10P, the documentary ‘The Missing’ pulled in 1.09 million viewers (7.1%).

Channel 5 at 8P had ‘Benidorm ER’ but it drew only 814,000 viewers (3.7%). At 9P, the CBS hit, ‘The Mentalist’ increased the network’s audience to 870,000 viewers (3.9%), and it was followed by NBC’s ‘Law & Order: SVU’ which drew 771,000 viewers (4.8%).

On BBC Three, at 8P, ‘Dave’s Storage Hunters’ drew 613,000 viewers. At 10P, ‘Hair’s’ latest episode had 665,000 viewers (4.2%).

Nine came in with #3 ‘The Block: Fans v Faves’ which pulled in 1,341,000 viewers and the #4 program, ‘Nine News’ which drew 1.227 million viewers. It also had #5, ‘Nine News 6:30P’ with 1,104,000 viewers. #8 was ‘The Big Bang Theory’ with 994,000 viewers. And the #10 program was ‘A Current Affair’ with 910,000 viewers.
